A Journey Between Keys, Rhythms, and Culture
I have been professionally dedicated to music education and cultural management for over 25 years. My journey as an online piano teacher goes beyond the piano alone; it is steeped in rhythm, community, and projects of great artistic impact:
- Official Academic Education: graduated from the Conservatorio Profesional de Música Arturo Soria de Madrid, a rigorous education that provided me with the technical and pedagogical tools to teach piano with total confidence.
- Specialization in African Percussion: trained at Etnopercusión and perfected through multiple trips to Senegal since 2008, learning the country’s rhythmic richness and oral tradition directly from native master teachers.
- Comprehensive Teaching: over two decades of experience as a piano and African percussion teacher, guiding students of all ages (both children and adults) in in-person lessons and as an online piano teacher.
- Cultural Management and Leadership: I have been leading the Goleparte Cultural Association as president for over 20 years, promoting artistic initiatives, workshops, and community learning spaces—all focused on West African music and dance, mainly from Senegal.
- International Event Organization: creator and promoter of benchmark meetings and festivals such as Playadrums, Thiono Rerul, and collaborations with major artistic groups such as Senegal’s folkloric ballet Ballet Jammu.
- Audiovisual and Cultural Projects in Senegal: extensive educational and artistic work broadcast through DEST TV, leading fusion workshops such as flamenco, student performances, and multicultural encounters, mainly in Dakar.
All this experience has taught me that music isn’t just about reading a score: it’s about feeling the pulse, letting go of fear, and enjoying the creative process. Let me be your online piano teacher.
